Mother Nature Wins!
This was Ian Greenhalgh’s dahlia garden in South Manchester following the January gales. The wind has destroyed the substantial wooden structure used to cover the plot during the flowering season. The severity of the weather has ripped the wooden stanchions out of the ground, bending and twisting the metal supports in the process. The debris was strewn over nine allotments.
